Motivation

Achievements

AuSi and AuGe eutectic alloys have been studied at ChemMat-CARS, APS, Argonne, IL. The results were reported at APS User's Meeting 2004, NSLS User's Meeting 2004 and a paper on the Au82Si18 eutectic was published Science in 2006

The main findings are:

A partial story of this behavior can be found in the poster here [reference]
